FAQ

  • Are you open all winter?

Yes. In fact, we do winter well. Our accommodations are outfitted with unique winter comforts. You will love the wood stoves, wood-fired sauna, and coming soon, a wood-fired hot tub.

Snowshoes are provided to our guests for our trails and so is wood for bonfires. We encourage you to get off site and have a few ideas here on our Adventure Blog on what you can do.

  • Is there a walk up to your accommodations from the parking lot?

Yes, for every accommodation but the Eagle’s Nest, which is located in the parking lot.

You will see distances from the parking lot noted on each of the accommodation descriptions. We have taken advantage of the expansive view that being slightly higher up the mountain affords us. We will help you with your luggage and you will find the gravel pathways well-lit and connected to all the amenities you will want to take advantage of during your stay.

  • Does each accommodations have a bathroom?

All accommodations except for the Eagle’s Nest work around a central hub: our Washhouse and Cookhouse. There are also a few ‘comfort stations’ which are things like a compost toilet with hand washing and first aid, a satellite outdoor shower, an outhouse, etc. The accommodation closest to the Washhouse is the Raven’s Roost (right outside your door) and the Yurt.

  • Is there WIFI? Cell Service?

Yes and yes. Although cell service is spotty in some locations at the base of the hill, you can rely on it in our area. The Eagle’s Nest has its own Starlink wifi, and the rest of our accommodations are around the central hub of the Cookhouse, which also has Starlink wifi.

  • Is there hot, potable water?

Yes and yes. The Washhouse is heated and warm, welcoming you in the winter. Two bathrooms with a compost toilet and sink each, and two shower rooms with hot water showers, complimentary soaps, shampoo and conditioner. We provide our guests with cozy, fluffy robes for travelling from a session in the wood-fired sauna to the satellite shower just behind it.

You can use the Cookhouse for the rest: filling up your water bottle, doing dishes etc.

  • Where can I refrigerate my food?

The Cookhouse. This is a central hub that all the accommodations surround. A fridge is located inside with space designated for each of our guests. Freezer space is also available. Help yourself to coffee, tea, and light pantry items. Use the full amenities of this kitchen and enjoy the antique wood stove and propane stove top, games, and the spectacular view.

Accommodations like our star-gazing tents and pods can also be supplied with coolers and ice packs whenever needed throughout the duration of your stay
